Baumeister and Doerfler Awards
The Baumeister and Doerfler Awards are given by the Faculty Admissions Committee in recognition of students whose work shows significant promise. Prospective students who apply by April 30th (for Fall Admission), and by October 15th (for Spring Admission) will be considered for these awards. They are extremely competitive awards, generally $7000 applied to the tuition bill and ordinarily, no more than three are awarded each academic year.

The Literary Review Graduate Assistantships
The Faculty Admissions Committee, in consultation with Minna Proctor, the Editor of The Literary Review, will select 2 first-year students, and 1 second-year student for the graduate assistantships. Graduate assistants do editorial work in exchange for partial tuition remission.

Director’s Award Winners
The Director’s Awards are given by the Faculty Admissions Committee in recognition of students whose work shows significant promise. No more than one Award may be offered in each genre.
