The editors are members of the faculty, the MFA summer residency features a special literary magazine workshop focusing on both the submission and editorial process. MFA students are offered the opportunity to join the editorial process as readers. Additionally, there are three Graduate Assistantships offered in conjunction with work on the magazine—two for first-year students that carry the title of Editorial Reader, and one for a second-year student that carries the title of Assistant Editor. Many MFA alumni continue participating in the magazine on the masthead long after graduation. Currently, there are four FDU MFA alumni acting in senior editorial positions at TLR.
