Alum Carol Fragale Brill: Panelist at AtlantiCare’s Women’s Health Signature Event
AtlantiCare will host Wings of Resilience – a Women’s Health Signature Event – Thursday, October 1, at the Carriage House, 25 South Pitney Road, Galloway from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Christina Baker Kline, breast cancer survivor and author of five novels, including the #1 New York Times bestseller Orphan Train, will be the keynote speaker.
The event will include boutique shopping, chair massages, hors d’oeuvres, a sit-down dinner, and a panel presentation about resilience and reinvention. A “Bra-vo” art exhibit will feature the works of breast cancer survivors who primarily used bras as their canvas to create healing works of art.
Panelists will include Cape May County author of Cape Maybe and Peace by Piece, educator and communications coach, and cancer survivor Carol Fragale Brill; physician and owner, Yoga Heals 4 Life, Robyn Frankel-Tiger, MD, PYT, RYT-500, CRMT; and Kyra Welch, customer service representative, AtlantiCare Physician Group Primary Care Plus, Brigantine, who, after having emergency brain surgery, finished her Bachelor of Science degree in social work and has begun studying for her Master of Science degree in social work. Kline will also participate as a panel speaker.
Registration is $55 per person, $50 for cancer survivors. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Proceeds of the event will benefit the Treasure the Moment Fund at the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute, a Fox Chase Cancer Center Partner. The fund assists those facing cancer with daily living expense to help them focus their energy on healing.
