Becky’s essay, “Our Mothers Have a Way of Shifting the Universe,” has been published in Lumen.
Becky Fine-Firesheets is a writer with an MFA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelors in Education from Tufts University. Her work has been published in Serving House Journal, The Boston Phoenix, Portal del Sol, and The Northeast Performer, among others, and her short story, The Roof, was nominated for a 2014 Best of the Net Award. She plays keyboard and sings/soliloquizes in spoken word/rock band The Brooklyn Players Reading Society. She also teaches ESL, runs a concert series called Readin’ N Rhythm, and acts super silly with her new baby, Lewis. Outside of her work, Becky is completely obsessed with her dogs, Basil and Bear, and loves going to the beach.
