Poetry by FDU MFA alum Heather Lang appears in Edition 8 and Edition 9 of Architrave Press. Read Lang’s “Unquiet” and “Pangaea :: Home”.

Architrave Press is a unique literary publication. Editor Jennifer Tappenden prints each poem on 5 ½” x 8″ archival card stock using antique letterpress methods. Each poem is available individually for purchase like a song.


Heather Lang’s poetry has been published by or is forthcoming in Pleiades, december, Jelly Bucket, The Normal School online, and Whiskey Island among other publications. Her reviews and essays have appeared with Berfrois, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, The Literary Explorer, Zeteo, and elsewhere. She serves as Associate Poetry Editor/Online Managing Editor for The Literary Review, as Co-Editor for Petite Hound Press, and as an adjunct professor. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her chapbook manuscript was named a semifinalist in the 2014 Tupelo Press Snowbound Chapbook competition, her poetry has been twice nominated for Pushcart Prizes, and she was awarded the Murphy Writing of Stockton University Scholarship for their Spain 2015 program. Heather will serve as an AWP16 moderator/panelist.
