Pleiades Publishes FDU MFA Alum Heather Lang’s Poetry
“Overheard Hunger” by Fairleigh Dickinson University MFA alum Heather Lang has been published in Issue 36.2 of Pleiades.
Heather writes, “A friend told me a spirit animal doesn’t have to be a real animal and that it can change. // So, I had it tattooed on the bottom of my foot.”

Heather Lang is a poet, literary critic, and adjunct professor. Her work has been published by or is forthcoming in diode, Pleiades, The Normal School, and Whiskey Island among other publications. In April of 2016, Nevada’s NPR member radio station interviewed her about her poetry, and she served as a moderator/panelist at AWP16 in Los Angeles. In June, Heather will be the Las Vegas Poetry Organizations’ featured poet.
